Pacific Coast Shockwaves

Pacific Coast Shockwaves is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization that provides each athlete the opportunity to reach his or her full potential by developing speed, endurance, strength and agility while fostering high self-esteem, personal accountability, self-discipline, goal setting, and goal achievement. Pacific Coast Shockwaves seeks to develop athletes into well-rounded individuals who learn not only the fundamentals of athletic training but also the importance of education in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character.

One of our primary objectives is to inspire and instill today’s youth with the ideals of good sportsmanship, respect for oneself and others, teamwork and pride in accomplishing academic and athletic achievement while teaching the fundamentals of track and field youth athleticism. We provide a structured and comprehensive Track & Field and Cross Country program for youth, and young adults ranging in ages from 6-18. This program is coupled with skill building, life-learning education, along with health and fitness activities.

“The Club” provides many opportunities for the advanced runner as well as the beginner. Athletes are exposed to an Olympic style-conditioning program, which prepares them to compete on a local, regional and national level through meet participation held by USA Track & Field (“USATF”) and/or Amateur Athletic Union (“AAU”). As runners develop through the program, many of our athletes look forward to competing on the college stage and beyond. Our program’s purpose is for both athletic as well as academic development.
